Perfecting my driving
If I had to spend 10,000 hours of performing a certain activity I would spend it on driving. The reason is that I just recently got my learner's permit earlier this month and I am a very inexperienced driver. I have only been out driving around five times so I need as much driving practice as possible. I do not want to be a driving who is careless and stubborn. When I get out on the road by myself in the future I want to have knowledge and patience so I do not cause accicents by being a reckless driver. I also want to know all the skills of drivng. Some of these skills that I want and need to learn are 3-point turns and parallel parking. I also need to know the rules of the road in order to be an effective driver. I need to know what the lines and signs mean so I do not cause commotion on the road. Driving is a very important skill to have in life and 10,000 hours of practice would definatley help me perfect it.
Driving would be a great skill to master because it would be very beneficial to you in the near future. A lot of teenagers get into car accidents early on into their driving career because they are not aware of their surroundings as well as adults are. Like you said, "I do not want to be a driver who is careless and stubborn...so I do not cause accidents by being a reckless driver". Those 10,000 hours would go a long way in you becoming an effective driver.

ReplyDeleteI agree with mike on this. Also, with us being teenagers and just starting to drive, our insurance is going to be much higher then an experienced driver. Just as you said Ricky, being a stubborn and careless driver who causes accidents will not only make you a threat to society, but cause your insurance rate to rise higher than it already will be. Good job!
